CUBAN AIRLINER CRASHES IN GUATEMALA: A Cubana de Aviacion DC-10 careened off the end of a runway while trying to land at Guatemala City's La Aurora airport Tuesday and crashed into a neighborhood nearby, killing at least 23 people, including 9 on the ground, and injuring dozens more. The plane was carrying 314 pax and crew, including 278 Guatemalan medical students returning home for Christmas from their school in Havana.
