#157 in Hamburg on January 28th 2006. It diverted to Hamburg the day before due to heavy fog in Billund, Danmark. I heard that one of the pilots said during the briefing "...and then we make a go-around like yesterday." The weather has not really improved, but #157 landed safely in Billund.

#157 ready to taxi - 28/01/2006. A few minutes later, the friendly crew was waving at us.

#157 on runway 23 in Hamburg. You can still see some snow on top of the aircraft. This was a very happy moment for us - not only to see and hear this beautiful aircraft: We weren't really sure if there was a functional towbar for this aircraft as our airport has not seen DC-10 service since the demise of Ghana Airways in late 2003.

#157 a few seconds before take-off. Everybody told me that the aircraft is in a really good shape. It has most probably very few hours on its clock, unlike its former SABENA sister ship #115

#157 taking off. It was the end of a very nice moment with the DC-10. Thanks to Alex for these beautiful pictures and thanks to my boss who gave me the chance to drive Alex around and see the great DC-10 too.
